Rambunctious brothers lead beginning readers through a quartet of hilarious slice-of-life stories.

About the Book

Four hilarious children's stories, two inventive brothers, one irresistible and award-winning beginner chapter book. Join Charlie and Mouse as they talk to lumps, take the neighborhood to a party, sell some rocks, and invent the bedtime banana. With imagination and humor, Laurel Snyder and Emily Hughes paint a lively picture of brotherhood that children will relish in a beginning chapter book format; making this a perfect book for young readers graduating from picture books.

About the Club

Facilitated by Youth Programming Assistant, Taylor Reardon, the Young Readers Book Club meets in the library storytime room to discuss the chosen book and have a fun activity related to what was read. Boys and girls 6-7 years old are welcome to attend; parents are encouraged to read and participate too. Register at the children's desk or online. Ten copies of the book are available at the children's desk.
