About the film
"The Rise of Black Wolf "  chronicles one of Yellowstone National Park’s most storied wolves since the species’ landmark restoration to the park in 1995. The film captures the life cycle of Black Wolf, one of Yellowstone’s oldest and most watched wolves. It is the product of eight years of filming, with the filmmaker spending more than 300 days annually in the park. Known as “Casanova” to wolf watchers who watched him court multiple females at once, and “302” to wildlife researchers, Black Wolf was a rebel member of the iconic Druid Peak Pack in the Lamar Valley before wandering off to form his own group, the often-seen Blacktail Pack.

Run time: 50 minutes
