  • Conference Room - Administration Wing

Join us for a special ONE BOOK STEAMBOAT  Brown Bag Lunch as we talk about the many and varied film versions of Ramona with Mont Alto pianist and silent film historian Rodney Sauer. Before you watch Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra play an original score for the 1928 silent film production of Ramona, hear Sauer talk about the film's behind-the-scenes stories and the process of compiling a live score  Sauer's extensive research includes finding some surviving materials from the original presentation in Los Angeles that show that a few scenes were cut from the film before its general release.

BYO lunch. Beverages will be provided.
