About the speaker
Libbie Mathes spent five years in India in the 1960s on assignment with her Foreign Service husband. She taught school, traveled, had their first child and became a student of the legendary Yoga Master Sri T. Krishnamacharya. The connection changed her life. Her main U.S. teacher is Senior Iyengar teacher, John Schumacher. She has taught yoga in the U.S. for 20 years in the Krishnamacharya / Iyengar lineage.
