NaNoWrMo book started? Finish ‘er up!

Laura Pritchett's class will be a great kick-in-the-pants to finish up that book you started in November (or a book draft that's just been lingering around for a concentrated edit). She will give you everything she wishes she’d known about writing a book-length work . . . the stuff that would have saved a lot of time, energy, and wrist pain from all that typing!

THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL.

The three-hour class (2-5 p.m.) will focus on some basic practical stuff -- touching base with your plot, your themes, your genre, and making any revisions in the smartest way possible; as well as the psychology of it all – what prevents us from finishing a book? How can we best tame the beast and manage and make use of the ruckus of our own resistance?

So, whether you’re just starting your book or nearly finished, this class will focus on important considerations for a book length work. Writers of all levels are welcome, although the class will likely be most useful for those who have already been envisioning /writing the book for a bit.

This class limited to 15 participants and the cost is $75.To sign up, you must contact Adult Programs Coordinator Jennie Lay by email or by calling 879-0240x317. Once your space is confirmed, further information will follow.
