Community Yoga Practice: Yoga for Real Life
- Library Hall
Bring your own mat or blanket.
This one-hour practice focuses on Maya Fiennes' Kundalini Yoga for Real Life. Fiennes combines movement, breathing and chanting to energize the body and relax the mind, while strengthening the body's nervous and immune systems. This practice is designed to stimulate the chakras, or body's energy centers.
About BWML's Community Yoga Practice
All ages, abilities and experience levels are invited to build a personal home yoga practice while checking out the variety of free library resources available to help guide you. As a community of yogis, we focus on a different yoga instructor's DVD, CD OR digital download during each session. Soak up the support of the local yoga community while absorbing the teaching of some of the world's most esteemed yogis projected on the big screen and/or the surround sound in Library Hall. Work at your own pace throughout each session.
