This is a great book. It is the 1st book in the series. His teacher turns in to a creature and he goes to a camp and embarks on a mission. Percy Jackson is not a regular kid in many different ways. For one his dad is a god. Once you start to reading it you will not want to put it down.
The Lightning Thief is a very good book that is one of many in this series. It is full of adventure and is very exciting to read. It is one of those books that the whole time you just DO NOT want to put down! I love this books so much. It is one that is worth reading over and over again! :)
