The Call Of the Wild is an alright book. In some of the parts it is a little hard to figure out what Jack London is writing actually means. The 8th grade has to read this books every years and I think that, like the other books that I am assigned to read, it would be better if it didn't require so much work. When you have to take tests and quizes and do study guides and books you sort of lose the expierence of enjoying a book.
