Peter and the Starcatchers is one of the best books ever! It follows the storyline of Peter Pan a little bit but is not a "little kids book" because of that. Peter is an orphan who is going to be sent with his friends on a ship to Rundoon, a terrible place with a horrible ruler. When a mysterious trunk and a mysterious girl board the ship, it pokes his curious bone. This is an amazing book full of pirates, talking dolphins, flying people, and much more! I would recommend this book to any one as long as it's not too long. It's so good!
I love all of these books and have read the series somewhere around seven times. They are always a great reread and I never get bored of them. If you haven't read them or finished the series you have to! They are the best books on the planet! If you don't know anything about Harry Potter (highly unlikely), he is a boy who at age eleven discovers that he is a wizard and will be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But not only is he a wizard, but he has a terrible history that you never would have guessed. As he goes on his journey to learn magic and fight evil he is accompanied by his two best friends Ron and Hermione. All readers will love these books, no matter age or gender. I really hope you read them!
Amazing Grace is a fabulous story. I just read it about a month ago and it's one of my new favorite books. It's not that long so it's a good one to read if you want a great book that won't take you longer than a couple weeks. It's about a girl who becomes a famous tennis player, but then the stress of all the publicity becomes too much. She goes to Medicine Hat, Alaska where she will wait and hide from the paparazzi until things settle down. On the way she falls in love, makes friends for life, and goes on an amazing adventure. Readers should be somewhere around ages eleven and up. I would suggest sticking to that. This is such a good book and will be one of your favorites too!
This is one of my favorite books! I haven't read the third one but just bought it because I know I will love it. It's about four orphans who get selected to go on a secret undercover mission to a "school" with very suspicious actions. If you love mysteries this is the book for you. I read it two years ago and still remember most of it because I loved it so much. Probably ages nine through fourteen would like it the most, but I did get my mom to read it and she enjoyed it too. The only reason I wouldn't say below nine is because it's not exactly short. Of course, it's definitely not Gone With the Wind. You will love it!!
