About the Parenting Bookclub
This book group meets once every six weeks and is co-facilitated by Lowell Whiteman Primary Head of School, Sharon Mensing and Bud Werner Library's Circulation Services Manager, Michelle Dover. The group is open to anyone interested in participating.
Sharon Mensing is the Head of School of Lowell Whiteman Primary, a kindergarten through eighth grade school. Her life experience includes, working for a fortune 500 company, teaching mathematics, working as a sought after educational consultant and a parent. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and business, a master’s degree in mathematics education leadership, and did her doctoral work at Seton Hall University.
Michelle Dover is the Circulation Services Manager at Bud Werner Library. She regularly facilitates books clubs at the library, including the Adult book club and Cooks with Books. She has a bachelor’s degree in english, and a master’s degree in english with a focus in education from Colorado State University. Michelle has five children.
She claims to have made every parenting mistake, but also done a few thinkgs right.
