List-o-mania!
I love lists. When my mind is jumbled with the hundred things to get done in a day, there is nothing more satisfying then to sit down and write out a to-do list. The tasks on the list get crossed off one by one, and my earlier panic gives way to a sense of relief. Sometimes I will write something down after I've done it, just to get the satisfaction of then crossing it off.
I feel the same way about book lists. I've created lots of lists of kids books and they all live together on our Books & More page of the Kids' website. These lists were inspired by teacher and parent requests, kids' staff suggestions, or just the time of year. We have lists of picture books for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, and lots of great chapter book reads, too. All of the lists link directly into our Catalog where you can find the book on the shelf or place a hold.
The gorgeous Steamboat Fall is upon us and you may be inspired to check out the list of picture books for the First Day of School or the Fall Season. For Halloween, check out the chapter book lists for Mystery lovers or fans of Scary books. Be sure to check out all of the Great Reads lists categorized by grade level.
