Some of our databases may be accessed from home providing you have a library card. If a database says HOME ACCESS AVAILABLE then you will be prompted to enter all 13 digits of the barcode number found on the back of your library card to gain acces to the database. Not all of our subscription databases are accessible from home, but we do plan to offer full access in the future. Academic Search Premier Provides full text for more than 3,460 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies. HOME ACCESS AVAILABLE Contemporary Authors Provides complete biographical and bibliographical information and references on more than 120,000 U.S. and international authors. Each entry contains the nationality, birth/death date, a brief biography, career summary, list of writings, and a bibliography of additional writings on the author. HOME ACCESS AVAILABLE Contemporary Literary Criticism Select Contemporary Literary Criticism Select is an extensive collection of critical essays on contemporary authors. Each entry contains a biographical/critical introduction, listing of principal works and sources for further study. HOME ACCESS AVAILABLE First Search - WorldCat WorldCat.org, formerly First Search, includes the collection found at the Library of Congress as well as books, videos, audio books, maps, musical scores, and CD-ROMs found in libraries throughout the world. [Search from Library] [Search from home] Infotrac General Reference Gold Access full-text articles in hundreds of magazines, journals and newspapers. This is an excellent source for author interviews and book reviews. HOME ACCESS AVAILABLE Novelist Plus A readers' advisory service, provides access to 155,000 fiction and non-fiction titles and offers a wide range of feature content that will expand your staff's ability to serve fiction and non-fiction readers of all ages and increase the reach of your library's program including author read-alikes, book discussion guides, reading lists and more.
