Put together by librarians and maintained by the Colorado State Library, KidsClick is easy to search by subject and includes everything from a "Weird and Mysterious" section to "The Arts", "Society and Government" and "Literature". This one is worth looking through!

The Colorado State Library, also known as the Colorado Virtual Library, has put together a well-organized site for kids who are looking for information on all kinds of things from the arts to geography. The site also has a special section on Colorado history.

Kidspace: The Internet Public Library for Kids
This site is one of the most award-winning websites on the web. It is managed by the University of Michigan School of Information Science (graduate school for people who want to be librarians).
