The Bud Werner Memorial Library shares their catalog with 22 other Colorado libraries on the western slope. This collaborative effort is called the Marmot Library Network. We are also a member of Prospector, a collection of 40 libraries on the front range. By combining our collections we are able to offer over 30 million titles to the patrons of the Bud Werner Memorial Library.
Marmot Library Network
When searching our catalog you will see all of the collections held by many libraries. Though the Steamboat Springs Community Libraries titles are always listed first, you can use the Narrow Search option on the left to further filter your results:
- Steamboat Springs Community Libraries = includes Bud Werner, High School, Middle School, Soda Creek Elementary & Strawberry Park Elementary
- Digital Collections = includes downloadable audio and eBooks from Overdrive & the Gutenberg Collection
- SSCL Bud Werner Library = just the titles in the Bud Werner Memorial Library Collection
- Steamboat Springs Juvenile Collection = includes Bud Werner Memorial Library children & teen collections, plus the titles in all of the school libraries.

When viewing a list of results from our catalog you will see all of the collections held by the Marmot Library Network first. To view Prospector titles scroll down to the bottom of any results page or look to the right for the following image when viewing an individual title. Choose a title and follow the prompts to request their materials.
