Wildlife Defenders, a film by Ira Rakiz Tuffile, takes us to the front lines of the war against the multi-billion dollar illegal wildlife trade, fast becoming a major contributor to the world's biodiversity loss. This investigative documentary goes behind the scenes with the Wildlife Crime Unit of Malaysia's Department of National Parks and Wildlife as they confront the global epidemic in wildlife trafficking. We tell the story of the men engaged in this war and expose the nature of the enemy, the poachers and traders. Wildlife Defenders follows wildlife warriors into action as they battle to snare the devious gangs who supply the billion dollar animal trade.
