About the film
United We Ski is a documentary by T-Bar Films that examines the importance of small ski areas to the sport of skiing and New England life. The film looks at the rise and decline of the region's small ski areas and tells the story of three surviving areas in Vermont (Hard’ack, Cochran’s Ski Area and Northeast Slopes), which rely on community support, volunteerism, and yankee ingenuity to provide affordable skiing to local kids and families.

The Boston Globe says, "It’s refreshing to see that one of this year’s most promising winter films focuses on family and community rather than the surreal."

SevendaysVT.com says, "It’s got beautiful photography of fantastic skiing, but it also has the story of what skiing really is. It’s a passion, it’s a feeling, and it’s ... still going on at these obscure little wonderful nuggets."

Run time: 35 min.

Free screening, but donations greatly appreciated.
