Raw Food Preparation
Join Cooks with Books in May when Raw Food Chef, June Florence will be with us twice. On May 5th she will be doing a cooking demo at Natural Grocers (no need to sign up for this event). On May 13th test your new skills by sharing a Raw dish (cookbooks available at the front desk of the library), bring the dish to share, and then ask questions of our Guest Chef, June Florence.
About Cooks With Books
Cooks with Books is for people who enjoy researching, creating and sharing food. This book discussion group meets once a month and is facilitated by Bud Werner Library's Circulation Services Manager, Michelle Dover. Participants prepare a dish based on the month's theme and share it with the group. The group is open to anyone interested in participating, but is limited to 15 participants per meeting.
