About the Series: Parent Empowerment Routt County
Presented by Grand Futures Prevention Coalition, Partners in Routt County and Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Colorado, this series is is focused around getting parents of tweens and teens the information and support they need in their everyday lives to help raise children that are healthy, caring, and responsible. We bring in speakers from OUR community to better relate to our parents and what they deal with daily. The goal is to give parents confidence and make them more aware of how they can be the best parent for their children. Topics include: social networking safety; setting rules and consequences; teen sexual health; alcohol, tobacco and drug prevention; parental monitoring; and healthy teen development.
