LUNAFEST is a film festival featuring award-winning short films by, for and about women

Hosted by the Bud Werner Memorial Library, this nationally touring film festival benefits Bust of Steamboat, the local nonprofit organization that has been helping women fight breast cancer in the Yampa Valley since 2001.

Come early for The Broad Band, Steamboat's only local all-women band, performing in Library Hall from 6-7 p.m.

The film festival kicks off at 7 p.m. This season’s program of six selected films will compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and motivate you to make a difference in your community. Incredibly diverse in style and content, LUNAFEST is united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling..

Your $10 donation at the door supports local efforts by Bust of Steamboat to prevent and treat breast cancer  for women of Routt and Moffat counties, and the Breast Cancer Fund

About LUNAFEST
Established in 2000 by LUNA, the makers of the Whole Nutrition Bar for Women, LUNAFEST connects women, their stories and their causes through film. This traveling film festival spotlights the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent, funny and thought-provoking themes. 100 percent of all net proceeds are donated to charity. To date, 110 filmmakers have been featured, nearly $1.9 million dollars has been raised and thousands of attendees have come away moved, entertained and inspired.
