About the speakers
Pam Wertz, a resident of Steamboat Springs since 1995 and mother of two, is a Personal Chef specializing in plant-based whole foods for weight-loss, healing and nutrition. She studied intuitive cooking at The Natural Cook Studio Arts Company in Boulder, CO. Passionate about good food and leading a plant-based lifestyle, she enjoys sharing ideas about health and food with others.
Lauri Aigner, a 15-year resident of Steamboat Springs, calls herself "Mom on a Mission." Aigner studied at The Wellness Forum in Worthington, OH, under Dr. Pam Popper, ND. Lauri is the owner of Simple Health, LLC and is a Certified Whole Foods Educator for Juice Plus. Her passion for educating about the benefits of whole foods nutrition developed as she was helping her son overcome his chronic asthma and allergies. After learning about the deep connection between diet, disease and obesity, and some very simple dietary changes that will greatly improve these conditions, it only felt natural to share this information with others.
