When you checkout seed packets from the Library, we hope that you will be able to grow and eat the plants, then harvest and return some seeds to the Library's collection for others to plant and enjoy. Some plants will not have time to go to seed in our short growing season, and that's okay. Because saving seeds is different for every variety, we have included seed saving tips for almost every seed in our online catalog. Remember to keep the packet you checked out so that we know which variety you return to the Library come harvest time.
