French Breakfast Radishes
Summary:This early radish has been grown since the 1880's. The beautiful rose-scarlet roots are oblong with a blunt white tip, 2" long, 3/4 " diameter and a small tender taproot. The crisp white flesh has a distinct mildly pungent flavor. This is a top quality old-fashioned favorite. (Photo & description courtesy of BBB Seed) 4-10 days to germination, 20-30 days to harvest. Plant in full sun/part shade. Plant seeds 1/4-1/2 inch deep, 1/2-1 inch apart and space rows 12-18 inches apart. Thin seedlings 2 inches apart. Seed harvesting: intermediate.
